NEW FOR 2009
WELLNESS
It's all about choosing wisely and balancing our body fitness, activating our minds and listening to our hearts.
I use stacking cups to illustrate my version of Canada's Food Guide pyramid, with a reminder that candy isn't needed whatsoever! There are some mind activating games "Are You Smarter Than a First Grader" and a group musical rhythm to stimulate the mind. Listening to your heart is taken literally as I rev up the heartbeat, but it's really about listening to the caring, sharing, respectful heart.
I also have a "body backpack" that gets filled with items from each section "body", "mind" and "heart". This backpack changes on their journey from "fitness" into "wellness" .
The final original song "A Good Fit for Me" incorporates everything they've learned, especially the three keys "Balance" your body, "Activate" your mind, and "Listen" to your heart.

It all starts with YOU! and builds to respecting others, The Golden Rule with a TWIST, knowing your P's (please) and Q's (thank you), respecting animals and giving them their space and respecting our environment. My NEW Primary School Show on Respect is a jam-packed 45 minute show, singing, dancing, laughing and learning. It's a great way to jumpstart the respect program in your school.
